Mentor CV Check my resume

Terms

Updated 10 October 2026

These terms are between you and Marturano Labs, Roberto Marturano, a sole proprietorship under Swiss law (imprint), which operates Mentor CV (“we”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

The service

Mentor CV scores a resume against a job posting, marks each line the way a recruiter would read it, and suggests changes using the words you have given us. It is not a recruiter and does not guarantee interviews, offers or any outcome. Job postings and their requirements come from third parties; we don’t own them and can’t check that they are accurate.

Your account

You sign in with an email link. You are responsible for your email account and for what happens under your account. Give accurate information and keep it up to date.

Your content

You keep the rights to your resume, notes and job postings. You give us the rights we need to process them to provide the service, including sending them to the providers listed in our privacy notice. You are responsible for what you put in your resume. Check every suggestion before you use it: we only use your own words, but a suggestion can still be wrong.

Acceptable use

Don’t use the service to submit false information to an employer, to scrape or resell it, to try to break its security, or to interfere with other users. Don’t use it in a way that breaks the law.

Plans, payment and renewal

Plans, prices and billing periods are shown at checkout. Prices may change for future periods, and we will tell you before they do. Paid plans renew automatically until you turn renewal off in Settings, which you can do at any time.

Subscriptions are sold through Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record: Stripe processes the payment, issues the receipt and collects applicable sales tax or VAT. Stripe’s terms and privacy policy also apply to the payment.

Moving down a plan takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. Upgrades take effect straight away.

Refunds and withdrawal

Monthly plans are not refunded for the period already paid. Turning off renewal in Settings stops the next charge.

Quarterly plans can be ended early in Settings. The plan stops at once and we refund what you have not used: €39 minus €19 for each month you started, never less than zero. So ending after one month refunds €20, and after two months €1.

Withdrawal. If your country of residence gives you a right to withdraw from a distance contract, such as the 14-day right in the EU, you can exercise it by writing to us. If you ask us to start a paid plan straight away, that right ends once the service has been fully provided, as the law allows.

Mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence are not affected by this section.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available, but it may be interrupted for maintenance or by factors we don’t control. We may change or stop features. If we stop a paid feature, we will refund the part of the period you have not used.

Intellectual property

Mentor CV, its software, design and name belong to us. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own job search. Feedback you send us may be used by us without payment.

Disclaimers

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude warranties of accuracy, fitness for a purpose and uninterrupted operation.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We don’t exclude liability for intent or gross negligence, for injury to life or body, or where Swiss or other mandatory law doesn’t allow it.

Termination

You can delete your account in Settings at any time. Deleting it cancels your subscription first. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Sections on liability, intellectual property and governing law survive termination.

Governing law and courts

These terms are governed by Swiss law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. The courts of Zürich, Switzerland, have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to sue in your country of residence. Nothing in these terms takes away mandatory consumer protections you have where you live.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell you before it applies. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
